The land was acquired in October so Texas could build a border wall but now they have a bigger vision. “Construction on Texas’ state border wall is underway. My office and I are committed to securing our southern border and protecting our communities,” Buckingham said. “Stay tuned for big news tomorrow at our press conference, where we will announce a major initiative to secure our southern border!”
