Peter Dinklage said that even after playing Tyrion in Game of Thrones, Hollywood still offered him many of the same stereotypical fantasy roles. He thought the show would change how actors like him were seen, but says from his perspective, it “didn’t do a heck of a lot.” Instead of taking roles he wasn’t proud of, Dinklage focused on smaller films, creating his own projects, and choosing work he actually wanted to do. “I haven’t done something I didn’t want to do since.”
