I belonged to two labor unions during a 40-yr+ work history. Yes, unions, as human institutions, do have their flaws. However, now that I'm in my mid-60s & fifth yr of retirement, I can honestly say THANK YOU! to my union representation.

Where I am, unions have become very strong. It is hard to sack an incompetent or lazy worker. Making it difficult for those around the person; they need to work harder.
