"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I got kicked out of 5 schools. Finished my GCSEs in a Pru. Still passed all of them. I coulda done way better but GCSEs don’t define who you are. I am an intellect in my own way, why do you think I have so many eyes on me? I’m not bragging or saying what I done to get where I am is right but I’m saying don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do anything or that you have to listen to a certain person to prosper in life. If you put your mind to it and really wanna achieve it it can be done. #mizzy #mizzythemoron

I don’t know how best to say this and not sound proud or arrogant but there are some people who used to be in your past life that should never make it to your present or future life. And you should not feel guilty about it! Before you misconstrue my point, please take note of the word “some”. I haven’t said you should cut off and turn your back on all your homies, friends and family members. But be smart about who, from your old life, you let into your new life! And stop having survivor’s guilt or remorse over that! I can’t explain it better but maybe A$ap and Snoop Dogg can.
