Arvind Trivedi, who played Ravan in Ramayan, was a true devotee of Prabhu Ram and Shiv Ji. During the shooting, he used to keep fasting because he felt that portraying Ravan and speaking evil dialogues went against his devotion to Prabhu Ram and Shiv Ji. Before filming, he used to perform pujas and Ram Ji’s aarti, and would even seek forgiveness from Prabhu Ram for everything Ravana said on screen.
