For yalls info, they changed the studio and voice actors after Advanced Battle (S8) that’s why the Diamond/Pearl voice sounds the way it does BW is where she found her own way and she got it down by XY. Allowing her to be rlly expressive in SM.

i think the only series where his voice wasn’t rlly adjusted was XY-SM bcuz it sounds the same There’s a small difference but I think that’s bcuz of the script (being more expressive than XY’s) and not the voice itself

Worth noting the Journeys clip is Ash's age 6 voice which is why it sounds a bit higher pitched.
