Asked about his support from some conservatives, David Crowley replies: "There's a lot of people who always say, 'Well, we have to fight back.' But it's like, okay, they also represent a different community in the state of Wisconsin, right?" "At what point do these pendulums swing so much... show more

Nick Fuentes explains who we have to think like. "We have to think like Hitler, we have to think like Bismarck: take one step back to take 6 million steps forward... If the Left becomes powerful, then the Right will resort to the strongest, most enthusiastic flavor of Right Wing politics, a national power. When empowered, the far Right can do what they need to do. That's the idea."

DANIEL LUBETZKY: BOTH THE FAR LEFT AND FAR RIGHT FUEL EXTREMISM “As a son of a Holocaust survivor, I feel comfortable saying, if you look at German history, not in the 1940s, but in the 1920s and 1930s, there's a lot of parallels for us to learn from on how extremism begets extremism and starts escalating and leading to something horrible. What scares me about what's happening in the United States and across the world is that…identity politics on the far left are so toxic that people say like ‘we need to stop this,’ and then bigotry and racism on the far right is so ugly that then the far left says ‘no we need to stop that.’ And rather than coming to a builder's mentality where we're all working together, people go to the simplistic tribalism of the extremes.” Sources: Daniel Lubetzky

Wayne Tinkle addressing the end of his time at OSU: "We had opportunities to go elsewhere from Montana and from Oregon State, but the authenticity of the fanbase, of the institution, the supporters, that's what had us... I got a ton more emails today. Just keep being Oregon State. It'll always be a special place... I know there's a lot of places what we do, how we do it, and what it leads to so I'm not done by a long shot."

And two months after my daughter's autism diagnosis, I knew I had a new job, much more important, and that was figuring out what was going on with my child who was suffering from all of these different things that were new to me." "I think among a lot of Democrats there's this kind of what psychologists would call 'learned helplessness' where you just think, 'Well we can't do anything about it. We have to wait till 2029' ... In New York with some people it's just like, 'Well we just have to do our things in New York and not worry about the rest of the country.' It does not work that way. We are one country. Our democracy can rise or fall on what this man is doing. And, it's not just our democracy. ... It directly affects our lives. The stability of our economy depends on the belief in the rule of law that people think we have a stable legal system, and it's hard to believe that today"

Elon Musk: We should let ideas compete, not suppress them. “I think we should embrace a diversity of views, and we should have reasonable arguments, and we should have debates. The essence of free speech is that ideas survive when they're competing ideas in the marketplace of ideas. And if somebody says something that's incorrect, then that can be corrected. That's what happens on the 𝕏 platform. People will say something, then others will add context to it, or they will correct it, or there will be a community note. This applies equally to the left and right. There's no thumb on the scale like there used to be. And there's no voice on the left that's been silenced, unlike in the past, where many voices on the right were silenced. But they just don't seem to like the idea that people on the right can say what they want to say within the bounds of the law, which is startling.” Pittsburgh, October 20, 2024

We're told the Belfast riots are a tiny group of far-right thugs who don't represent the community. That's not the impression I get from listening to these women filming the protests when they say "YESSS! GET IN THERE!".

Asked Michael Porter Jr. about his breakout with the Nets and David Adelman saying the Nuggets used him correctly: “I think whenever you have a team that talented, a championship-caliber team, there's going to be guys that sacrifice. Some of the shots and some of the ways they probably could have used me, we had enough good players to where we could create a good shot in a different way. I didn't need to come off of a screen and be high usage in that way and shoot some of the tough shots that I'm shooting here, which I can make, but over there those may not be considered the most highest percentage compared to what we could get. So, that's with every good team. But it is good to be able to kind of show what I'm capable of and kind of get some of the recognition. It’s tough as a player when you know what you can do and you are asked to do something different and then people criticize you for it. That can be tough. But it's part of the NBA, it's part of being adaptable, and it's part of being on a really good team for a lot of years. You just got to accept your role and do what the coach asks in whatever situation you're in.”

.Ken Cuccinelli II tells slaterradio it's "infuriating" that deep staters hid election intel from the Trump admin's DHS, where he served in 2020. "This material was hid from the agency tasked with communicating it to state & local officials." "There are a lot of people who don't want to hear what the president has to say. They don't want to believe any of it's true, but the documents are right there, and an awful lot of it is pretty clear, as far as the deep state goes."

The Ditch: The Party Line | Episode 14: Fascism at Home, with William Wall 'It seems plain enough to me that whatever about a posture or certain aesthetics that might hint at a right populism, at its core it's Declan Ganley and his big gaff outside Galway, hoovering up state contracts in the US. They might posture as right populists but it seems to me like a right, capitalist podcast for the right capitalist class. 'I think that that brings it very much home because we are concerned about the rise of the right on behalf of trans people. We are concerned about the rise of the right on behalf of immigrants. We're concerned about all of these things partly out of what you might see as a kind of solidaristic response to the people who are potentially at the receiving end of their rise. 'But we are also concerned because we are trying to win class politics for a mass of people in this country.'

Josh Hokit reveals he's never heard from Dana White or Hunter Campbell regarding his controversial comments: "They would also message me if they really felt a certain way. At the end of the day, all the other people weren't there when I was down. They weren't there when I was broken. I'm here to make a splash, and I'm here to back up my words as well. If anybody feels some type of way, they know where to find me. That's why I respect them so much... They can always feel some type of way. I respect their opinions, but we do have freedom of speech, so it is what it is. I don't like what other people say, but I've got to deal with it."

Elon Musk: We want a wide variety of views on 𝕏, so people can decide themselves what they believe. “We want to make sure that there are a wide variety of viewpoints [on the 𝕏 platform]. We have, for example, Tucker Carlson, who most people will view as being on the right. That's quite a prominent name on the right. We want to have prominent names on the left as well, to provide different points of view, as well as centrists. Basically, a wide range of viewpoints on the platform. So users can hear different opinions, they can hear what's your point of view, what's Tucker's point of view. And people can make their own decision about what they believe.” The Don Lemon Show, March 18, 2024
