Asked Brian Ch O'Connor this morning about the sky high expectations for Mississippi State Baseball and how he addresses those with his team with ups and downs surely to come. His answer didn't disappoint.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Yea we got to right guy, love that he embraces the history and expectations that come with the M over S

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB RUN TO IT

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB If this team plays with the grit and toughness MS State baseball is known for we won’t have to worry about the Wins and Losses.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB You have to embrace the expectations if you’re going to coach at state and coach oak has embraced it. Can’t wait to see what he does

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Gonna win the whole damn thing.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Fire me up one time Joel. Can't wait to see the diamond dogs hit the field.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Can you go tell the football and basketball team this also?

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Love this from Coach Oak and thanks for the interview Joel!!

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB 👀

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Oak got me like

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Go ahead and build him a statue! #HailState

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Damn he fires me up.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB I have a short term goal and it’s because of a consistent problem with the previous staff. Let’s don’t wait until the season is 1/2 over, or later, to be decent on defense. And I believe this staff will fix that problem.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Any doubts?

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB T minus 10

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB This is gonna be fun.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Nut cutting time @hailstatebb

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB Great coach and even better man.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB "Scrimmages" apparently not in the caption lexicon.

@CoachOakMSU @HailStateBB lol talk to text
