Asked Claude Fable 5 to build a Windows OS and it built a fully functional web-based Windows OS clone in the browser - sign-in, notifications, Edge, Solitaire, the works. Plus, even created Copilot lol, A Minecraft clones, vision-based gameplay, insane 3D worlds & more. Full demo:

🚨Claude Fable 5 just built a full macOS-style web OS in ONE shot and went further than most models. Single HTML file, embedded CSS + JS. From one prompt: > macOS menu bar + dock > Draggable/resizable app windows > Functional file explorer > Working terminal + browser mockup > SVG Desktop icons + notifications > Settings app, themes, boot screen Fully functional sound player (real synthesis, no external files) > Playable Minecraft clone inside the desktop All generated in one pass with almost no corrections. The working sound player + actual Minecraft clone is something I haven’t seen other models pull off yet. Fable 5’s frontend/UI generation is getting ridiculous.

Claude Sonnet 5 created a full macOS-style desktop clone in the browser 🤯 Pretty good pass on the os test. Single HTML file. No frameworks! It built: • Login + lock screen • Dock + Launchpad • Resizable app windows • Safari, Finder, Notes, Terminal, Settings & more • Hand-coded SVG icons • A playable FPS game inside the OS AI agents are getting scary good at building full software.

Kimi K3 built a browser-based Windows XP environment, and it goes way beyond a visual mockup. It recreates the desktop, system UI, and old software behavior closely enough to feel like a usable web-native OS layer. It can even run games like GTA: Vice City and Red Alert 2. That is a much more interesting result than a simple nostalgic interface demo. Cc: AB Kuai.Dong

Claude Sonnet 4.5 or Gemini 3.0? 🤔 We tested both on Verdent with a massive prompt: "Build a fully functional Windows OS for the web." Watch the video to see the comparison and the incredible resulting OS (featuring a working Python terminal & Paint app!). The new Gemini 3.0 is a beast. Try the comparison yourself on Verdent.

Grok 4.5 just built a full macOS-style web OS in one shot and actually crushed it. Single HTML file with embedded CSS + JS. From one prompt it delivered: > macOS menu bar + dock > Draggable and resizable app windows > Functional file explorer > Working terminal + browser mockup > SVG desktop icons + notifications > Settings app with theme switching > Fully functional sound player (real Web Audio synthesis) > Playable games inside the desktop Almost no corrections needed. The working sound system and interactive elements inside the windows is where most models usually fall apart, but this one handled it cleanly. Grok 4.5’s frontend and UI generation is actually on another level right now. SpaceXAI

I gave Grok 4.5 one prompt. "Build a full browser-based Windows OS clone with a desktop shell and working apps." This is what came out. 🤯 A working Windows environment. Running entirely in a browser tab. Desktop shell. Working apps. Full UI. One prompt. No refinement. And here is the part that actually matters. This is level 1 output. Straight out of the box. No iteration. No back and forth. No refinement. I have not sat with it yet. I have not pushed it further. I have not refined a single thing. If I did, this gets significantly better. SpaceXAI

Claude Fable 5 has impressive spatial reasoning capabilities that are immediately relevant for engineering and design: In this example I gave Claude Fable 5 a single photo of a hierarchical mesh torus (image generated using a text-to-image model); and in one shot, no iteration, it built a full interactive 3D simulation: ~1,400 nodes & 4,400 fibers, realistic mass–spring physics you can grab, compress, twist… plus strain-based sonification so you can 'hear' the structure vibrate. It inferred the complete 3D topology from a partial 2D view. ⤵️

Claude Code vs Codex vs Grok Build: Who builds the best Windows 95 OS in HTML? I benchmarked them live on speed, lines of code, file size… and actual usability. Claude: Fastest (384 lines, 14KB) but basic Grok: Took longer… and built a monster (full Explorer, Paint, interactive Grok terminal, browser, Control Panel, dial-up to AOL, shutdown & more) Codex/GPT-5: Didn’t quite make it Out-of-the-box winner? Grok. By a mile. 👑 Full breakdown + results inside 👀

today is the last day fable 5 is in the claude code plan, so i gave it something i've always wanted to build: polytopia rebuilt in pure C, RL agents trained from scratch, playable in the browser completely vibecoded. i didn't write a line. even the game assets were ai-generated using a pipeline fable created. 🧵 below

Claude 5 Fable (Ultracode) I asked it to build a demo of my dream game in Three.js and I'm genuinely shocked 💀 One shot, a full explorable starship with a working cockpit, crew quarters, a planet drifting past real windows, dynamic lighting, sleep/eat interactions, it screenshotted its own work and fixed itself until it hit 60fps on browser Obviously not steam ready but man this is so so far from what we had one year ago…

Someone asked Claude Fable 5 to build Minecraft. The results are honestly absurd. • A fully playable survival game with villages, raids, bosses, enchanting, and redstone • 200+ FPS on a fanless MacBook Air • Every sound and song is generated in real time (from oscillators)

Claude fable 5 is operating in a completely different dimension 🤯 Compared it with Claude Opus 4.8, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and GPT 5.5, the visual gap is insane. From 3D fluid dynamics to volumetric animation and complex physics, Fable 5 crushes the game. It’s not even close.

built an animation template web app right before Claude Fable 5 gets taken down. the idea is simple, pick a template, upload your assets, adjust the ratio, and export. no timeline headaches. no complex settings. just the stuff you actually need. been wanting to build this for a while. wild that I finally created it in the last hours of Fable 5.

Just built a full macOS-style Browser OS using Baidu’s ERNIE 5.1 I can’t lie it smoked DeepSeek V4 on web dev. Smooth desktop UI, draggable windows, working apps, file system… all running 100% in-browser. This model is alright for creative coding not the best obviously. Efficiency + decent performance is the new meta.

Windsurf is one of the best AI coding tools I’ve ever used. I just asked it to create a Perplexity clone, and it got me a fully functional web app in less than 10 min, able to search the Internet for the latest info. Here’s the full workflow:

Claude 5 Fable (MAX) Created a MINECRAFT CLONE 1:1 Spent 55 Minutes/52.4k Tokens. It perfectly replicated the entire sandbox game: • Multiple biomes • Day/night cycle • Ores, caves & more This is actually insane. AI agents are getting scary good at game dev.

Wow Microsoft just announced Copilot Actions for local files 🤯 You can basically ask Copilot to perform any task on your machine autonomously. Yes. - Open Copilot in Windows - Assign a goal in natural language - Copilot launches a contained environment - It works autonomously for you Copilot can use both your desktop and any web app. And you can take back control at any time. This allows you to do whatever you want while the AI performs your tasks... or even do nothing at all. The entire OS becomes agentic. Impressive.
