Playing Cole at RW (we know he likes to be free tho) allows us to add another attacking outlet like Joao or Christo in the number 10. This will give us a huge advantage against low blocks. Surely Maresca needs to think this way.

Yeah he's actually right. Instead of overlapping fullbacks our wingers are the ones that are tasked with holding the width. If Palmer plays there with an overlapping fullback then he'll end up in the same no. 10 position but if you player him as a winger tasked to hold width
