You’re asking the wrong question. A coach can’t say yeah I shouldn’t get another chance. I need to be fired. The question should be “What do you think it’s different this week that will make the difference in winning these close games?”

Been 8 years of “improving” and “gaining back the trust of fans” Here’s a bright idea, maybe stop fucking saying it and just do it. Sick and tired of this victim mindset and the “just need time” bullshit. Any other school in the nation fires locks after least year.

There’s literally no reason for him to have press conferences the rest of the season. It’s simply going to be asking why are you bad at your job and him dancing around it because we all know his time is up.

Locksley’s answer was fine. He handled the tough question a lot better than most others would! A policy to not allow follow-ups is fine, too, IF media are told beforehand. PR 101 is to protect/enhance the image of the program, which taking the mic from a journalist’s hand obviously does not do.

The line of questioning is valid but the part about asking him if he feels he “deserves” to keep getting chances wasn’t necessary. You and your boy @Mikephowes continue to use that in your questions to Mike, what do you expect a coach to say, “No I don’t deserve more chances”?

Appreciate you actually asking questions that he needs to be hear. @TerpsADJimSmith needs to make the change that is long overdue. Been hearing it’ll change after the yearly losses like this that derail whole season. Yet in year eight regardless of improved talent no improvements

The man knowingly employs Pep Hamilton. If you study Pep’s career it’s synonymous with ruining a black head coach’s opportunity to be successful. It’s truly staggering how that man stays employed. Coach Locksley doesn’t bother me, but Hamilton has been terrible for a generation.

This is the question and accountability that needs to be asked of him, completely fair

Absolutely all for tough questions but not for you to say he was out coached - even if true. That needs to be attributed. Players I’ve spoken to say… critics say… Sources inside the program tell me.. or What do you say to critics who say you are being out coached

Look, I'm all for asking tough questions, but there's a better way to ask that one and to get a more interesting answer. Saying someone was "outcoached" and the team was "outplayed" wasn't needed and immediately makes the question antagonistic. You sound like a fan not a reporter
