"Born as" is important for intersectionality concerns. Women raised as men can have its own host of issues unique generally to trans women and could even allow for greater commiseration with cis women. It's not strictly a transphobe thing

Let's be real it's not unusual for a cis woman with a low voice to get called sir over phone or voice chat. Also you can't negate the fact doctors identify by sex, you know the genitals you were born with. They also need to know your meds and sex to treat you appropriately.
