Why PVE Existence Helped The Game # Usually PVE haters have logic of 'PVP timmies went to PVE so raids are dead, hence game dead' to certain small portion, they are right. We got that out of the way, let's talk about it. "Why PVE didn't kill the game, instead it revived it." 1. PVE players now are not only ones from PVP, but also people who are coming for first time, who came back after tarkov fatigue, or who were on fence. -> so even tho PVE is removed, people won't go PVP, people will simply drop the game. 2. PVE is also good entry game mode which would even increase PVP players eventually. We had lot of PVE players try PVP Season recently. 3. PVE players paid additional money to play PVE in base. -> these were used to develop the game content more, such as season & new maps. -> nikita even approves that PVE interest was unexpected. 0. PVE is the only way after game is finished or abandoned fully, with modding being added (officially confirmed for modding) + p.s. I still think PVE should be free for Standard PVP edition purchasers or sold as standalone copy of PVE I know some people will say 'make your own game and give for free', but im talking about after buying PVP, or Purchase PVE standalone, not totally free game.

Please Nikita Buyanov, don't delay 1.0 content on PVE. I remember so many things were delayed, biggest example, REF. Hardcore wipe, Softcore wipe, hideout changes. It's just weird that PVE players get less or delayed content even though we even 'PAID' more than pure 'PVP' players... I get spoiler can happen faster if we PVE players with lot of progress don't wipe, understood that. But delaying contents for PVE for that is just weird. If we talk about spoiler for endgame, i'm like 99 % sure there's gonna be some data-miner will find out and spoil it everywhere, or some PVP chads who will be playing on one account with 5 people swapping around to get to ending within 48 hours will spoil it anyways.

It's good and al there's an bundle sale on PVE & Arena. However, just want to mention to people who is considering this bundle, that PVE is not so well treated. Even simple promo code for 1.0 release is not available for PVE such as current one, 'NIKITAONGMNPODCAST' or 'RELEASEISCOMING'. Whereas there was single code that worked on PVP & PVE 'TIKTOK1M' (which should still work). So they already have system for giving out promo code for both game mode but don't give them. I know people will say PVE easier, so no need for gear, no big deal... but why not give it if it's no big deal? it is also weird since they actively promote the game mode to sell it. Events were also PVP focused, which is understandable, but sometimes excluded PVE to have event for literal no reason (Pre-wipe events being excluded for PVE is understandable since they don't wipe). I know people will say 'Tarkov is PVP Game', but sad news to people, Tarkov is PVPVE Game. And if you exclude PVE part, the game will feel extremely empty. Whereas if you exclude PVP part, the game is still quite viable due to its in-depth of the game (we literally have PVE Game mode being sold). Literally the 1.0 release end content is PVE single player campaign in Terminal... My thoughts are that PVE definitely brought and will bring them a lot of new players and money, but Nikita or some part of the devs just don't want people to play PVE. I just wish they change their mind and at least embrace PVE players and not discriminate them. Just another thought is that needing to buy PVP game mode to be able to buy PVE Game mode is also weird. Or needing to purchase PVE Game mode even though you have PVP. I can somehow understand they put in some additional development into PVE and they have some servers for PVE to pay. probably the first online game anyone has built with Astra.... you can solo play it or play with a friend it’s built with Astra + Blender took me around 4 hours to make.. i think with a bit more polish, this could actually be really good. game is still very early, but you might like it, especially if you played competitive MMORPG PvP.. give it a try! >
