Lokayukta Crackdown: ₹14.38 Crore Unearthed in Raids on Minister’s Private Secretary Bengaluru In a sweeping anti-corruption operation, the #Karnataka #Lokayukta on Wednesday uncovered assets worth approximately ₹14.38 crore during raids on Sardar Sarfraj Khan, private secretary to Housing and #Minority Welfare Minister B.Z. The investigation revealed immovable assets valued at ₹8.44 crore, including four luxury houses and 37 acres of agricultural land. Movable assets worth ₹5.93 crore were also seized, comprising jewelry estimated at nearly ₹2.99 crore, a fleet of high-end vehicles worth ₹1.64 crore, bank deposits and investments totaling ₹1.29 crore, and cash amounting to ₹66,500. Sarfaraz Khan, a senior official from the Directorate of Co-operative Societies currently on deputation as Secretary to the Housing and Minority Welfare Department, is now under scrutiny. Lokayukta officials are examining the large volume of documents and financial records seized to determine the full extent of Khan’s alleged disproportionate wealth.

New clean 3D AI workflow Control Rig physics in UEFN! Been exploring some more hybrid AI workflows lately, and for 3D assets splitting the model into parts is kinda essential. This video shows my first test using AssetHub, one of the cleanest ways i've used to keep the whole generation process organized. It auto-detected the pose in my main image and broke it down into parts, then generated images for each. From there I can just iterate on each piece separately and generate the 3D models in one workflow. AssetHub is still in closed beta atm, so let me know if you want to try it out. Main reference image came from Grok Imagine. All the part images and high poly meshes were done in AssetHub, selected Tripo 3.1 as the main model. After that I ran it through Hunyuan 3D for retopo + unwrap. Final assembly in Blender. Baked normals from high to low poly. End result: under 60K tris, 3 materials, 2K textures. Also Control Rig physics in Unreal Engine are insane. It finally validates in UEFN too, so of course I had to test it out.

Throughout the night and into the morning, emergency rescue operations have been underway in the Donetsk and Dnipro regions. In Kharkiv, rubble is being cleared after a strike on apartment buildings. 27 people were injured, including three children. The youngest, a girl, is just three years old. Three people have been hospitalized. Unfortunately, there was one fatality in Odesa. My condolences to the family and loved ones. The Russians launched 101 drones against Ukraine, most of them Russian-Iranian “shaheds”. Many regions were affected, and air raid sirens are blaring again across many regions this morning due to attack drones. In total, over the past week, there were around 1,270 drones, 39 missiles, and nearly a thousand guided bombs. We are strongly counting on our partners to fully deliver on what we have agreed. Air defense remains the top priority for protecting lives. We are also actively advancing agreements on investing in our domestic weapons production, including all types of drones. Special focus is on interceptor drones. We are contracting at full capacity. I thank all partners who are helping.

Here's a sneaky peak the next release of the GB Renewables Map, or should I say the GB Not Just a Renewables Map… That's right, all types of power assets are coming to the map! Plus a whole bunch of other improvements. It's been an absolutely massive piece of work that's sucked up most of my evenings and free time, but I'm very nearly there now. And if you didn't already know, yup, this a hobby project I do for fun outside of my day job… because I'm weird like that. This video shows how things currently look with all the power assets visible, though you might also notice a few other additions if you look closely… It still has some rough edges so I'm in two minds whether to just put this live and work on fixes and improvements as I go. This is a huge change to the code and to the whole concept for the map, so I'm not entirely sure I'll ever have it 100% nailed down. I'm also cautious letting perfect be the enemy of good enough. I don't think there's anything awfully broken though, I've tested it so much it's probably more robust than the current version of the map! Though there will inevitably be things that I've overlooked. Even in its current state it's already proven incredibly valuable for me to learn more about what's happening during periods of constraint on the grid, like seeing which assets are being turned up to balance things out. What do you think? Shall I put this live and we can find the quirks together?

Working on PT in DX12, made me understand CPU timeline and GPU tmelines lot better. DS3 uses deferred command lists to render GBuffer. I already did a lot of rewiring with command lists for eg execution motion blur command list before PT is rendered. It usually is executed after scene is rendered. LE needs to update buffers for eg to capture at full res and FP16 precision. LE needs to override the camera projection for Jitter/ReverseZ and also for editor. While the Jitter/ReverseZ are ensured that they are updated, the UpdateSubResource was done during draw-call while tracking dirty flags. Now I just bind the my override cb and use Interlocked exchange to capture the core buffers only once and make sure the Camera data is updated correctly before any command lists are executed. In DS2 everything is done on the immediate command list and is single threaded renderer, so things are much easier to track down and update.

This is crazy! With LTX 2 in ComfyUI i was able to keep my original camera movement + it did a full lip-sync on the singing haha. All running locally. I made the original video back in 2021 when Metahumans first came out and we were working in Unreal Engine 4. This music video was some kind of result from my first experiments with Livelink and Control Rig at that time. Now the new AI improved version is not perfect and i didn’t train any lora for character consistency yet. I also didn’t have the original video file anymore so I downloaded the Youtube version as input haha. However the camera result + facial expressions are really promising! I wonder how it would handle more complex and fast shots though.

I want to be very clear: these are my personal beliefs and observations, and they do not represent any movement, group, organization, or individual. In my view, it ultimately doesn’t matter whether the persistent lines we see in the sky come from specialized aircraft with spraying systems or from commercial flights leaving “contrails”. What concerns me most is the evidence suggesting that governments are deliberately influencing/creating these atmospheric phenomena and using them along with other geoengineering and weather modification technologies to actively create, manage or manipulate weather patterns. I believe that any thorough discussion about geoengineering or climate intervention should also address the role of NEXRAD Doppler radar systems in weather modification. Omitting this component, in my experience, leaves out a significant part of the picture. When public conversations focus primarily on harder-to-prove aerial activity while giving less attention to powerful ground-based systems, I think it’s reasonable to ask whether all relevant tools and methods are being fully considered. I also want to share my own direct experience. For more than two years, I have lived approximately 3.5 miles from a NEXRAD installation that was relocated to my area. I have spent countless hours observing and documenting its activity day and night, including monitoring patterns across the country. I have personally noticed strong electromagnetic effects which disrupt my sleep regularly and cause other personal health effects. My deeper concern is the human cost. How many more lives and communities must be impacted before we seriously examine whether weather systems are being weaponized or irresponsibly altered? How many more tragedies whether from unusually severe tornadoes, devastating floods, or other extreme events will we accept before demanding greater transparency and accountability? I’m not asking anyone to accept my conclusions. I’m simply encouraging people to look at the full range of available information, including ground-based technologies, with an open mind and a focus on protecting public health, safety, and the environment.

Today, my meeting with the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, focused primarily on strengthening the energy and economic capacities of both our nations so that together we can do more for the national security of our states. We are working to expand cross-border energy cooperation – building two new power transmission lines with Romania. Equally important is our ability to pursue projects together in resource extraction on the Black Sea shelf. Today, we also discussed projects in the oil and gas sector that can support us now, including in light of the challenges related to the Middle East. We reviewed opportunities for transporting American LNG to Ukraine via Romania. We are also working to open new border crossing points – and this will be achieved already this summer. I thank Romania for its principled position throughout all these years of Russia’s full-scale war. Ukraine and Romania are natural strategic partners. The geography of our region, the security challenges we face, and the economic needs of our peoples all point to one conclusion: cooperation between us must only grow stronger.

Are you kidding me? That’s what I said when my eyes spied an uncured bacon bar peeking at me in my co-op grocery store. Of course, I took it home. It’s made with honest to goodness ingredients and it’s literally bacon concentrate. Please, take my $3.25! And I’ll definitely be back for more. These will be great for road trips because they don’t require refrigeration and how often do you get to eat bacon when you’re on the road? Like, never! Full disclosure: maple syrup is in the ingredients list, but it’s not overly sweet and I’m willing to take the hit. If you’re wondering where to find these, AI told me whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and some supermarkets have them. You can also get them directly from Epic and will pay $2.67 each for them not including shipping
