This is on my heart this morning by the grace of God. This is a trend on social media, where the YNs are trading in their nike techs for quarter zips. This is a bright spot in an abyss of endless negative news and content right now. A few things... 1st, I hope this really sticks and doesn't pass like most trends. 2nd, it's sad that we (Black people) associate being dressed nice and sophisticated with White people or White culture. But then again for along time in this country the majority of both cultures have been separated by these type of cultural differences. Again I hope this transformation sticks, minus the music and the walk at the end lol. I had one chainsaw accident. It was really early in the morning and a tree had fallen across my driveway. I threw on some clothes still barely awake and went to cut it up. I don't even know how it happened but I went into auto pilot and did almost this exact same thing. I felt the saw hit me and I pulled it away instantly. Truly blown away today by this demo of the Arcadia platform that i was given. Ive looked into ALOT of AI/Gaming projects and this 100% the most viable one i have discovered. Im seriously surprised this has gone under the radar for so long. Like holy shit lol. And by the way.... I dont get paid for any of this, this is not a paid post. Im not taking any tokens or anything. I do all this advising and stuff for free. this is legitimately the first time in a long time i was genuinely excited about even a gaming project, let alone the gaming/AI intersection (which i love). The devs are obviously good, the concept is very viable, the MVP is built and ready and can be used right now. Truly excited for this platform and what its going to bring going forward. No shit... i wanted to play and mess around with it as i was seeing it demo'd and i havent felt that way in a long time. Just fuckin watch this youll see exactly what im talking about. Flagship agent Magnus Opus Is launching on Virtuals Protocol Genesis on Tuesday 2pm UTC. This is the level of quality and Innovation ive been trying to onboard to Virtuals Protocol. Truly setting a standard not just on virtuals but in the Gaming/AI space as a whole. This is the type of quality product that allows you to identify the bullshit fast, because you know what is possible and your expectations have been raised. It almost is like the @KosherCapital of AI/Gaming. You will see what i mean. Without a doubt this is a full 100% max allocation for me. One of the best ive seen so far. I feel fucking privileged AF to be listed as an advisor on this project. And yes i did actually advise them because the point stuff and tokenomic metas are somewhat hard to digest at first for people looking to launch. A year or so later, I got a phone call saying Quentin Tarantino wants to have dinner with you, because he'd seen Jungle Fever and he liked that Gator character. We found out we liked the same kind of stuff. And he told me he was writing this thing, and he was writing this part with me in mind. He was going to send it to me. I went off to do another film. I was in the backwoods of Virginia somewhere doing a film, and the script came. A little plain brown wrapper from Jersey Films. And Jersey's got these gangster images on the logo. And it said, "If you show this script to anybody, two guys named Ernie and Luigi will come and break both of your legs." Whatever. I went, "Yeah, right." So I sat down and read it. Boom. I read this thing. It's like, "Oh my God. This is awesome." And then I said to myself, "Nobody writes a script this good. There's no way that this script is as good as I thought it was." I closed it. I opened it again. I read it immediately. Okay. This is great - If whoever produces this film lets him shoot exactly what I just read, if they stay away from it, they don't try to edit any of this stuff out - this is going to be a great film. It's going to be kind of audience-specific, because I like that kind of stuff. I have friends that I knew would like it. It was a generational kind of film. I never thought it would cross over and do all this stuff. We shot it. We had a great time doing it. And the first time I actually saw the film was at the Cannes Film Festival. That night, it screened, and I was sitting there watching the film. The audience was loving this movie, loving it. About halfway through, I realized there were subtitles at the bottom of it. So I said, "Hey, these people are reading it, and they're getting it. This might be special. This really might be something special." And actually, by the time it was over, there were tears running down my face. One of those unique-concept games that has stuck with me over the years is Marble Madness. I was instantly hooked the first time I played it. Although I wasn’t very good, the urge to try again (and again) was incredibly strong. It had an almost mesmerizing quality. The graphics - for 1984 - were impressive, as were the music and sound effects, which added to the “this feels very different” vibe. Most fascinating, though, were the physics: the marble reacting to slippery surfaces, bumping over ramps, and being knocked aside by the “evil marble.” It demanded real skill and patience to navigate the levels. This morning I drove into ABC place Waiyaki way as I needed to do some shopping, as I got out of the car I heard someone shout “Baba, Baba” I turned around and a young man straight away came and hugged me. He looked and me said Baba do you remember me, it took me at least two mins but I realised who he was. This goes back some 20 or more years ago when I was a frequent customer or should I say furniture at a place called Tropicana or Gypsy’s in Westlands this boy was a teenager and together with his very very young two siblings would be there selling njugu or asking for handouts. I recall asking him why would they be doing this late past midnight and he said so they could help their mother and also try get money for fees. I did not realise what I did then, but I began helping him with frees for many years and these boys would take care of my car and even of me when I would walk out very late in the night. They had became a part of that area and the security of Gypsy would even allow them to do this extra work as I would tell them these boys aren’t the usual chokoras who will steal. They would watch over customers cars and I would support them. As time passed I grew out of that life and moved on and we never met again, even the place closed down but my nickname as most of my closest childhood friends, the waiters and everyone who I associated with still remained BABA and to date they call me BABA, and why? because I “USED” to be a die hard Raila Odinga supporter 😂😂😂. The boy told me he looked for me for a long time as he always wanted to thank me and finally we met today as he was getting to work , he told me he sent his family back to Kisumu where he helped his little brothers to complete their education and believe it or not today he is a head chef at the Seven Grill & Lounge ABC place.
