Assam Cabinet has approved the CM FLIGHT Program. Under this scheme the government will offer a ₹1.5 lakh subsidy to successful applicants to undergo training in Japanese language. On completion, they will also be placed on short-term paid work opportunity in Japan.

#WATCH | Delhi | On the Cabinet approving the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya says, "Under the leadership of PM Modi, the ELI (Employment Linked Incentive) scheme was approved in yesterday's Cabinet meeting. This scheme is the result of the employment-centric policy of PM Modi. PM Modi had designed a 5-year program to ensure employment for the youth of the country. Under this, the ELI scheme has been introduced. Under this scheme, any youth who has secured a new job will be given Rs 7,500 twice a year...Through the ELI scheme, over the next 4 years, Rs 1 lakh crore will be provided to employees and employers..."

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said that the capital's new EV Policy has been officially notified in the Gazette and is now in effect. From now on, buyers of electric two-wheelers will receive a ₹30,000 subsidy; electric three-wheelers, ₹50,000 subsidy; and N1 category light commercial vehicles, ₹1 lakh subsidy. All electric cars priced below ₹30 lakh are fully exempt from Road Tax and Registration Fee. The government is also offering scrappage incentives for those replacing old vehicles with new EVs. The CM also clarified that petrol vehicles will not be phased out.

Opening global doors for Assam’s youth is a project which I am very passionate about. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with the first batch of CM-FLIGHT trainees who are undergoing Japanese language training. Many of them come from villages where no one has ever travelled abroad and today they are pursuing a very exciting international opportunity. Under this effort, Govt of Assam offers upto ₹1 lakh support to youngsters seeking foreign language skills in order to enhance their international mobility chances. Our current batch strength is 140 but we aim to significantly expand this scheme, as the results are very encouraging. Biswajit Daimary

Under the visionary leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, we are working with full commitment to build a strong and future-ready coal gasification ecosystem in the country. In this direction, the Government had earlier launched the first phase of the Coal Gasification Incentive Scheme with an allocation of ₹8,500 crore. Under this phase, 8 projects have already been sanctioned, with work on nearly 4 projects already underway on the ground. The remaining projects are also progressing rapidly. Further strengthening this mission, the Union Cabinet has now approved the second phase of the Coal Gasification Incentive Scheme with an outlay of ₹37,500 crore. In a short span of time, the coal ministry worked extensively to prepare the guidelines and bring the complete details of this incentive scheme before stakeholders. The speed and efficiency with which this initiative has moved from Cabinet approval to implementation reflects the decisive, reform-driven, and action-oriented governance of the Narendra Modi government.
