I don’t want Assam to be an educational hub just for the North East. I want our State to become a centre for education for Eastern India and entire Bharat. For this, we need 50% of our universities to come in the top 100 rank.

We received that input five days back. Assam Police has worked and approached every single leader of the minority community. Our SPs got in touch with various Masjid communities and various important persons from the minority community. Assam Police extensively worked for the last five days. Yesterday was a day of immense satisfaction that Assam did not witness any kind of protest. We only witnessed protests in three places, with 150 people at each venue... This is a result of extensive outreach by the Assam Police... I'd like to offer my gratitude to the people from the minority community... Maintaining law and order is the primary responsibility of the state... In coming days also, we will maintain the law and order situation in Assam..."
