If that was my husband, brother, or son, I would be deeply ashamed of his treatment of those ladies. I feel like he went in there looking for trouble, & if anyone should be charged, it’s him. He kept advancing into their space.🤷‍♀️

I appreciate your input for the community. We do not completely agree on perspective. The item he was wearing was not anything to do with a campaign however. If it truly did say "Lets Go Brandon" then this has never been any campaign slogan of any candidate. It reflects the feelings of individuals that is all it ever was and citizens have a right to wear whatever they want. I wore Red, White and Blue to vote, we going to keep people from that because it offends a few idiots? How about the color BLUE or RED? Where is the line. The law does not say an individual voter cannot wear what they deem not campaign material. Where's the exact definition of those words and where is the line between that an infringing on the Right to Free Speech. Everyone needs to chill the hell out and just step aside. SC 7-24-180 is strictly about campaign materials and its intention was to keep voters from candidates and their workers from harking and harassing voters on Election Day at the polls. I agree he behaved badly and arriving with hat was "poking the bear". An officer should be present at each site and had they been the situation should have been defused and he allowed to vote and leave without harassment from workers. These poll workers were not old ladies and they ganged up on him instead of defusing the situation themselves. "Stand your ground" is not appropriate when working the polls. They had every opportunity to just shut up, call in backup (officer or male on premises) and call him as asshole when he leaves. IMO Watching this video over and over again , he removed the hat and through it out the door not at anyone. The poll workers continued their attack on him until the poll worker did indeed strike him first. His finger may have gone up to tell her to back the hell out of his face, but he did not strike her. Therefore IMO SHE did assault him physically and must be charged accordingly. Her punishment should take into consideration the circumstance but in the end she behaved badly and must pay. That said he behaved badly too and some disturbance of peace or such probably is due him too. Going to be interesting to see this play out in court. Folks can we PLEASE just VOTE and leave each other respectfully to do so in PEACE. To Pollworkers, Thank You for serving but "Buckle Up Butter Cup" and keep your wits and decorum. Better to let an asshole vote as he is than to cause a scene, grief to yourself and other voters, and sure as heck isn't work the trouble ALL of these poll workers are going to find themselves in now that they ganged up in his face like they did. ☮️🇺🇸

He was let go. I see it like you. He was being aggressive, threw the hat and was threatening. If she’d been a strapping young man , I bet he wouldn’t have showed out like that!
