I was blown away by this stellar movie 🎥 Director Antoine Fuqua on the moment(s) while shooting ‘Training Day’ when he realized the movie would be such a big hit… Huge fan of Training Day, I honestly think the card game with the Mexicans is one of the film’s greatest scenes in the picture, and it’s a sequence that doesn’t feature Denzel in it. The anxiety in that scene is off the charts, it’s so well done and directed, it could very well be a short film of its own. Antoine is directing the new movie ‘Michael’, in theaters on Friday April 24th!

Caroline Munro on how lucky she was to be cast in "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" (1973): "I had been signed by Hammer, for one year, for a contract, out of which I did two films; one being 'Dracula A.D.' (1972), and the second one being 'Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter' (1974), which kind of would come full circle to Sinbad. [Captain Kronos] was written and directed by Brian Clemens, who wrote the screenplay for 'The Golden Voyage of Sinbad' (1973), so I was lucky enough to have been chosen for 'Captain Kronos', and they were searching for some body to do Sinbad, and they wanted a big name, somebody American or well-known, but Brian said “No.” He kept lobbying Charles Schneer & Ray Harryhausen, saying, “I think you should come and look at the rushes and see what you think, because I think she’s right.” So they said “No,” but eventually Brian persuaded them to do that, and they saw the rushes, and that was how I got the part. "The 3000 Nazis were no match for maybe 100 of these Jewish gangsters." This is the incredible story of how Jewish American gangsters handled a bunch of Nazis in NYC in the 1930's. The story is told by Michael Franzese, son of John "Sonny" Franzese Sr, a former underboss of the Colombo crime family who was part of that mob era in NYC. According to Franzese, German Nazis rallied in the thousands in NYC, trying to stir up both support for the Nazis within the US, and hatred for Jews. (Sound familiar yet?) The Jews did not let these rallies take place while their brothers were being slaughtered overseas for long. The Jewish mafia, with support from their friends in the Italian mafia, organized at the request of a judge named Perlman and gave the Nazis an old-fashioned ass-whooping.
