It actually happened!

Ha! This happened to me recently as well. I tried to offer a ride to a woman who was walking home at 230am. It was cold and early Sunday, so I figured she was heading home after a night out and either couldn't get a ride or was in an argument with her partner and got kicked out of the car. I pulled up, rolled down the window and greeted her kindly, no response. I still offered her a ride home, as I was just finishing up my work. Still no response. She just continued to walk on, looking down and sad at that. So I was like alright, "have fun walking home in the cold" and then I just drove off.

They did roll up on her super fast. If I was a solo female I would have done the same thing.
