i hated this stage. i probably played it longer than every other stage combinded. a whole butt-ton better now but five years ago😶

100% Agreed Sonic Colours for a first time playthrough can be very slow but mastering these levels to get a good flow state and go as fast as possible is so much fun

My absolute biggest issue with newer 3D Sonic games is how enemies are used They are RARELY actual obstacles within the levels and are more JUST extensions of platforming to be Homing Attacked which just defeats the point of enemies in a level

Can't believe I used to think this stage is mid. Frog Forest is great, one of the best in Sonic Heroes. Got loads of opportunities to put Sonic Heroes great movement system to use and the platforming design is really solid. The Frogs being able to generate new routes is great too
