🇮🇳🇮🇳 Astra BVR missile has been tested in networked mode. One LCA detected the target and fed the target info to other LCA which silently fired Astra. Phenomenal ⚡⚡

Cooperative engagement capability Air Force version. Imagine this with our SU-30 using it's large ass radar to feed targeting info to Tejas flying further ahead with a much smaller RCS without significant active emissions

Good progress. Btw...this facility existed in the LUSH Sea Harrier of Indian Navy 15 years ago... Derby BVR coupled to ELTA radar.

Paired with Mini AWACS #Su30MkI 's powerful Virupaksha AESA , #TejasMk1A with 160 km #AstraMk2 "shooter", is truly indigenous force multiplier Next to stealth capability, Great feature to hv in aerial combat No wonder #TejasMk1 received accolades in #TarangSakthi

Not seeing a reference to this being Tejas in this clip? Any source for more details?

Bravo… 🔥

An assassin in making

Wow. Targeting high power aircraft far behind and small tejas with low RCS and stealth coating firing ... NIGHTMARE.

But some defence exfarts were complaining " hamaare jadeed taiyaare ek dusre se guftgu nai kar pate"
