The best part is them saving Nine for last, as if anyone would want to see her as a boss rather than a playable character, since supposedly no boss is ever playable.

Why do people think bosses and chibi avatars deconfirm certain characters from ever becoming playable. Did the dev team ever imply that was the case?

Well, who knows, maybe Ruby could show up as a guest character—that’s all I’ve got left to hope for now. It’s better to hope than to get a punch in the face from the company after all this—two amazing characters thrown in the trash. They might as well just make Jubei a boss.
