Astrud Gilberto-That Girl from Ipanema #Bossanova #Jazz

Right. But that guy playing the sax is Stan Getz. I mean, at least a mention.

When I was in music school we learned /played this song on guitar

I always thought fondly of her. Lovely with a very silky voice.

Better in Portuguese even though I understand not a word❤️

A slice of heaven

Timeless. Still one of my all time favorites.

Brilliantly sang! She sang it in modal scales. I think it’s major and mixolydian.possibly some Dorian. Lovely song…

Słabe wykonanie

I like this; -

La véritable version est en portugais, c’est encore plus beau

✨🌹

"Let's face it—we'd all sound like that if we could"

Great bar there quieter and nicer than Copacabana

Dutch pianist Pim Jakobs

I think of my long departed father whenever I hear this song … it was one of his favorites

The voice of an angel. 🖤

For her vocal on the song, she was paid a few hundred dollars and that was it.

Class.
