Once these new Ripple stablecoins are created the eSDR (IMF currency) can exist! Each currency is allotted a weight (%) in this basket of currency. No! XRP is not an eSDR, but rather the asset that allows that currency to transfer value.

Presently banks in the U.S. cannot use crypto until clarity acts creates separation of governing bodies and who looks after what. Also, the USD is still the predominant bridge currency, so that will be used more than any other asset, including XRP. When XRP is the cheaper hop, banks like Euroexim and others will utilize XRP, but until there is 100% clarity in the U.S. banks will not use crypto assets, and RLUSD and/or other U.S. denominated stablecoins will be utilized first. When there is clarity, and banks can use crypto assets, they now have a fully functioning RTGS stack through Ripple Prime, GTreasury, Palisade, Rail, Ripple Payments/RippleNet, EverNorth for XRP treasury and use.
