They will handle tasks like fueling, picking up items, restocking, and inspections,working alongside human staff, especially during peak holiday periods in China to ease service pressure. Figure AI has partnered with Catalyst Brands to deploy robots at its Reno, NV distribution center, starting with its Joey Pouch sorting system. The new humanoid is an upgraded version of the earlier Miro wheeled humanoid robot. In August, Miro was deployed at Midea’s Jingzhou factory in Hubei, working alongside AMRs, single-arm four-wheel robots, KUKA robots, and human workers.
