Our journey as DJs began in the Jackson Heights - East Elmhurst areas of Queens, our hometown. We crossed paths in our late teens, under the guidance of the mentorship of Dr. Butcher from Corona. The early 1990s marked a pivotal period in our careers as we honed our skills and put into practice what we learned at local parties. Returning to perform at Jackson Heights Day this past weekend was a truly special experience, as we were able to showcase our craft to the same community that had supported us from the very beginning.

While I appreciate the proposed salary increase from the SRC, I believe in these challenging times, We as a Nation must plan to Prioritize. Our country is now faced by significant hurdles and I am genuinely happy to reject salary increments and even a reduction in the long run. Words are easy, but actions speak louder. I am committed to taking responsibility and leading by example. It is high time that We show our collective willingness to weather this storm Together.

During one rollout, it decided to do it with the right hand—and we all stopped. We were stunned, because no one taught it to do that. Today is my 37th birthday. Yesterday I went to the US senate and spoke my truth - as a physician, as a woman, and a living being striving to act on the signals I am perceiving and the intuition I feel. If there is one thing I feel at this moment in my life at 37, it is that cultivating healthy bodies is of real importance as it is one of the ways that we honor this mysterious MIRACLE of life and nurture the material receiver through which we might be able to connect with spirit, with God. Our unhealthy bodies are a distraction and impediment to the bliss that we can experience right now in the simple recognition of our oneness with all things. Right now, many levers of society in our material world make being healthy extremely challenging for so many. There is mass suffering that needn’t be, because we are - I believe - distraction, confused, and lost, In the swirl of the cosmos, there is something happening in our little corner that feels like it glitching. Life is on assault. Our Earth, the Mother through which God allowed us to come into human form by assembling atoms from her into us, is being destroyed at our own hands, and so of course, so are we. We have broken the cycles of life, and so we are, or course, breaking. I don’t believe the answers to this are going to be strictly technological, because technology often seems to have the intent of outsmarting nature, with I don’t think is possible. I believe they need to be based in humility, care, and respect for our Mother. 🌎 We, together, can right all of this. I think we can do it rapidly. I think we NEED to do it rapidly. We can protect our earth, protect each other, and get back on track to pursue our highest calling in this precious moment in this lifetime. This is what I came to say to the US government yesterday.
