A 22 year old with a full time job should be able to afford rent. Should be able to buy groceries without doing math at the register. Should be able to get sick without going into debt. Should be able to own a car without a cosigner. Should be able to save $200 a month without it feeling heroic. None of that is ambitious. None of that is asking for much. That used to just be called having a job.
