All bus lanes in Baltimore City should be protected with concrete and steel. Don’t just make it a hassle to drive or park in a bus lane, make it impossible. Give ppl REAL options, besides driving, to get to/from work.

Yeah, that intersection of Lombard and Light is crazy. Pedestrians get a walk signal at same time cars get a green right turn light to drive through the crosswalk. It's really dangerous and makes no sense

8 seconds is a lifetime if you’re riding a bull. In this case it’s BS that the city set the timing so briefly. Four lanes + two shoulder + full median = approximately 70 ft A person walking 3 mph is traveling 4.3 ft per sec….that takes at a minimum of 16.3 seconds…..if the person isn’t disabled, elderly, distracted by butterflies….. walking kids. The standard should be 20 seconds min during daytime hours 0600 - 1800. That’s reasonable.

Sorry, cars have a green light to specifically turn into the crosswalk while pedestrians are simultaneously being told to cross? That is lunacy

The traffic signal in the middle of 1800 Orleans St is a 5 second walk, if you press a button. Cross 4 lanes and a median while facing incoming vehicles from hospital and parking deck. City DOT gave it the OK in 21'.

Is there a process for decommissioning a crosswalk? @ZawodnyDaniel

Fixing the timing of these lights will help a lot. People are extremely impatient at both of those lights because it’s the end of a line of lights that they’ve waited at because a lot are mistimed. The left turn onto Light also doesn’t mark lanes well at all.
