If you’ve been eating carnivore or low-carb for a few weeks and the scale hasn’t moved, the first question usually isn’t what you’re eating too much of. It’s what you’re eating too little of. Most stalls on this way of eating come from three things: • not enough fat to signal satiety hormones • not enough total calories because restriction habits carried over from previous diets • stress and cortisol keeping insulin elevated even when food is clean Your body will not release stored fat if it believes it’s in a famine. Undereating sends exactly that signal. Adding more fat, more food, and more rest often breaks a stall faster than cutting anything. I stalled many times early in my journey before I understood this. OK so I have to tell you about my new obsession. Cheese chips with little slices of butter and salt on top. 🧈 Forget pork rinds. This is next level. Something I’ve learned in my carnivore journey is how important getting enough fat in your diet actually is. I’ve also learned to stop fearing saturated fat, dairy fat, all of it. Here’s what I notice every single time I don’t get enough fat. I get tired. I get a little brain fog, my thinking isn’t as clear. I get irritated more easily at little things. I get cravings out of the blue. And then I eat some fat and the cravings disappear. My energy comes back. My brain gets clear. My thoughts get more organized. Every. Single. Time. Some people might call that anecdotal. I call it lived experience. And as you all know, I always bring my receipts. I am very transparent and honest, I share everything with you guys, so I could not gatekeep this amazing new snack. This version is Havarti cheese sliced into small squares, toasted until crispy, cooled, then topped with a little Tillamook butter and salt. These little powerhouse bites are mostly fat with a little protein, and I am absolutely obsessed. You’re gonna want to make these right now. 🔥

jihoon’s wish: “I want to go on a trip overseas and YG will pay for everything” is this the big 3 privilege 😭😭😭😭 🐶 —kidding. actually, I went on a solo trip at the beginning of the year. during that time, I got a lot of positive energy, my motivation increased, and I feel like I have the mental space and mindset to be able to see the world from a broader perspective, so if I get the chance to travel abroad again, I think it will be very meaningful.
