At the Capitol today...

this is hard, but weirdly, “the long term work is the same” is actually one of the most comforting things i’ve heard all day. not everything has completely shifted on its axis. we’re still just fighting for good. please thank emily for me. i’m gonna hold onto that.

I broke down after work this morning. I am definitely in mourning. I definitely need to take time to get myself through this. I have "obamacare" insurance. I am a woman in Texas. And I have a multitude of pre-existing conditions. I am terrified.
