At this point, I think journalists should equip themselves with protective gear. The pro-Yoon mob tried to attack us the other day when I showed up with a camera crew. Many journalist friends both Korean and foreign, tell me they don't feel safe anymore.

Most concerning pattern at these protests: Professional agitators showing up with megaphones, carefully positioning themselves behind crowds. They never throw the first punch, but methodically work to heighten tensions until violence erupts.

They start with simple chants, gradually escalate rhetoric, push crowds closer to police lines. When violence breaks out, these same instigators mysteriously disappear into the background.

These pro-Yoon mobs are all dogs 🐕

Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim Geon-hee are working with Jeon Kwang-hoon to create a fascistic world. Jeon is not a pastor, but rather an agitator.

As a Korean, whether media is so-called 'left-wing' or not, it doesn't justify the violence. Pro-Yoon supporters are violent because they're desperate, because they're on the losing side.

@kchonyc The report is twisted by left-leaning journalists. The trial of opposition leader Lee who was convicted guilty on a on a first trial was closed in just 1 minute at same day. And labor union demonstration is much more severe. But never gets reported.

Wow I don’t expect it will get to that! The optics do not look good at all

Unfortunately it's been like this since he got arrested and the moment they find out you are a journalist they get extremely agitated and call you a spy. It's easier if you are not Korean, but the moment they know you are from a Korean media they were chase you.
