We need to all work together to make unprocessed sustainable food accessible and affordable - from grassroots movements to top down policy. The GST Rebate is increasing by 50% this June. Why? Because Carney failed at making food affordable for Canadians. We don’t get lower prices, instead, we get the highest food inflation in the G7. The GST patch, doesn’t solve the food of affordability crisis or the record use of food banks. This is simply another inflationary measure we cannot afford.
