Athas now comes with Monaco Editor's engine by default. You can still toggle Athas Editor Engine on settings. I decided to hide it as a feature flag until it gets as good as other modern editor engines.

New in Brave for Android: Custom search engine support! 🔎 You can add new search engines, or sites with search, at Settings -> Search Engines. Now they'll appear as Quick Search options when you start typing a query into the address bar.

One of the smartest parts of a jet engine... and you never see it. These are the Variable Stator Vanes (VSVs). As engine power changes, they rotate by tiny amounts to keep the airflow smooth through the compressor. It may not look like much... But without them, a modern jet engine could become unstable and suffer a compressor stall during rapid throttle changes.

Ever heard of a Variable Stator Vane systems in Jet Engines ? It's one of the least visible mechanisms inside a modern jet engine, yet one of the reasons engines like the Pratt & Whitney engines achieve 15-20% lower fuel burn than previous generations. A hydraulically actuated ring rotates entire rows of compressor vanes by tiny fractions of a degree, continuously reshaping airflow to prevent compressor stall as the engine transitions from idle to full thrust. The complete modern variable stator vane control system is estimated to cost on the order of $200,000-$450,000 per engine. Without this hidden mechanism, modern high-pressure compressors operating above 40:1 pressure ratios simply wouldn't remain stable. Video :- Aircraft Technical

✨ 3d models are now LIVE on Photo AI 😊 You can now turn any AI photo you make into a 3d model by pressing [ 📦 Make 3d model ] And then you can view it inside Photo AI or download it as a .GLB 3d model file It's still very early in AI generated 3d model world but it's nice to have this feature working already As always, the models will keep improving, so this feature will keep getting better (like it did with video, it sucked before, now it's getting passable) Next would be nice to switch to .USDZ so you can load it straight into your iPhone with ARKit and put it in your room Available now for everyone on the Premium and Ultra plan

Just wanted to add, also try it out with Matcaps 👓 It's not going to be as perfect as using nodes, but it can add a bit of stylization to the reflection (but def check out Luwke's node settings on his post!)

I don’t whether it’s deliberate or accidentally loud air conditioning, but walking down the corridor of The Titanic Hotel in Liverpool there’s a low hum as though the ship’s engine can be heard as it makes its way towards the you know what. Very atmospheric.

Logan is a good athlete but respectfully he isn’t as athletic as me and I’m an offensive lineman so I would have to say he isn’t in the same stratosphere when it comes to athleticism with other NFL players especially the skills positions
