You don't just default to correct because you either don't realize or won't admit that you could be wrong. "2+2=17 and I know I'm correct". Confidence isn't correctness.

Faith means never being honest enough to admit when you were always wrong about every assumption already.

He gave a clear answer, i don’t see how he was stumped Seems more like you are stumped about his knowledge works, you needs certainty for knowledge Google fallibilism

Acknowledging that you can be wrong is being honest. You should try it sometime.

Yeah, no Eric. That's not how that works. "I could be wrong" is a position that everyone should take, as it means that they're open to the possibility that they might have made a mistake, and that they're capable of learning. "I'm absolutely right" means you're unable to learn.

Apparently, you were debating someone with integrity. No wonder you didn’t know what you were seeing or hearing. Your father out of the clink yet?

"I'm dishonest and you're not, therefore, debate over, I win."

You’re a joke, Eric. Play the full piece.

So you prefer to be arrogant and claim that you cannot possibly be wrong? That's typical of you.

Idiot 🤣😂🤣😂

1. If two people disagree and just one of them is honest about the possibility of being wrong that's irrelevant for the verity of their respective claims. 2. You jumping at the chance to dishonestly declare victory is not what the word "stumped" means.

Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge." --C. Darwin

Typical theist: ask an open-ended, leading question that demands a yes/no answer, and then take it and run with it. "I'm not done yet," the guy clearly said while you were strawmanning him. SOCRATES said he knows he knows nothing. It's BASIC philosophy. Neither do you.

Pretending that you know every answer to every question because your answer is “gawd did it!” isn’t the “Gotcha!” you think it is. lol

Girl that's a god of the gaps argument

Im a Christian and this isn’t a good argument. He’s very clearly saying that he’s open to being proven wrong but hasn’t seen evidence that’d contradict his beliefs.

Did you have fun picking that cherry, Eric? Were you exhausted by the effort?

"Atheist stumped by my stupidity"

Being honest and answering the question honestly doesnt make you stumped, it makes you honest. Be confidently wrong like theists make you a liar and dishonest or delusional.

It's weird that Christ humbled himself to the cross but Christians can't humble themselves to debates.

I like the part of this debate that you edited out when that 6th grader defeated you.

Eric must be the dimmest debater in the history of debating.

Problem is that YOU could be wrong about everything you know. You’re just not willing to admit it. It’s actually a key difference that allows Atheists to grow and learn, but prevents Theists from ever learning anything outside their dogma

Is it possible that refusal to admit you might be wrong is not the same thing as it being impossible that you actually are wrong?

Eric, you aren’t stumping people. Your questions are just so stupid it’s hard to know where to begin in correcting you.

I can't be wrong about everything I know, because I know I'm not omniscient.

Eric, you were being deceitful. Admitting you could be wrong does not equal admitting you know nothing. Your severe lack of integrity demonstrates your immorality. But don’t worry; that’s quite typical of Christian apologists.

Eric, you didn’t make a point here. This is 100% you showing how stupid you are. You just made a complete ass out of yourself

The correct answer is no. Also for a living you claim to know things we know are wrong

'Could be wrong' doesn't equate to actually being wrong, and certainly not to admitting not knowing anything. Falsification is the basis of science. Doubt is necessary to advance knowledge, which is a remit of science, not if religion. These two remits should not be confounded.

If you're not willing to admit you could be wrong about anything, you prevent yourself from ever learning anything.

My goodness you’re either incredibly dumb, or fantastically dishonest. Total non sequitur, and ab absurdly stupid one at that. 😂😂😂 What a joke!

The question applies to everyone, if you say no then you are academically dishonest. Nobody can be absolutely sure of everything. This is nothing burger philosophy. It's worse than a deepity.

Ridiculous "gotcha" attempt. The same applies to Eric (unless he's a liar). I guess he got this from his wife-beating, criminal, fake doctor dad Kent?
