Noble is officially leaving the Cosmos SDK. This is both a setback reinforcing the current negativity - and a wake-up call & real opportunity for ATOM. After nearly 3 years on the Cosmos SDK, Noble is migrating to an EVM-only L1 built on the commonware stack, with mainnet launching on March 18. IBC support is expected to remain active post-migration. Noble was early to the stablecoin thesis and highly anticipated in Cosmos, especially after Terra’s collapse, when UST had been the primary source of stablecoin liquidity in Cosmos DeFi.
