Shri Ramchander Rao, BJP Telangana State President, was detained by the state police today as he set out to visit Banswada and Kamareddy, where tensions have prevailed following recent incidents of violence. In Banswada, several Hindu families were targeted in a stone-pelting incident after tensions escalated over the harassment of a Hindu woman. Shri Ramchander Rao was scheduled to meet the affected families, express solidarity, and assess the ground situation firsthand. His visit also included Kamareddy, where Congress workers attacked the BJP MLA Camp Office. He intended to extend support to party karyakartas and review the circumstances surrounding the attack. However, before he could proceed with his scheduled tour, he was detained by the police.

Those who misused it during the BRS regime are now running to courts. Congress leaders & police officials walking the same path should take note. In a disturbing escalation of political violence in West Bengal, the TMC launched a violent attack at the BJP District Party Office in Cooch Behar. The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police.
