#WATCH | Advocate Subhash Chandran KR says, "It is highly condemnable. The attack is on Indian judiciary. An attack against Chief Justice of India means that it is an attack on the Constitution, on the Indian judical system. So, entire Indian society should condemn it...We are extending our support to the CJI, to the Constitution of India and we will be protesting against this atrocious act of a lawyer...A criminal FIR should be registered against the so-called lawyer, contempt of court action should be initiated against him. This should not happen to any other lawyer. This should be the last incident..."

#WATCH | BJP MP and National Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi says, "Today, in Supreme Court, the incident which took place in which the behaviour shown towards CJI BR Gavai - these types of incidents are highly condemnable in the eyes of BJP. Not only is this condemnable, but it hurts every Indian because this type of behaviour doesn't fall in line with the social tradition, constitutional grace and the cultural traditions of India. So, it hurts everybody. To uphold the dignity of the Constitutional post and values, it is the incumbent and inevitable duty of every Indian. PM Modi has also expressed his anguish on this incident. He has also praised that even at this moment, the level of calmness which has been shown by CJI Gavai is not just praiseworthy but it also shows his strong, unflinching and undeterred commitment to the high constitutional values."

CJI 🧊: Supreme Court is open 24x7 for every consumer of justice, but people must file a proper petition. Every letter cannot become a case. REPORTER: Your “don’t waste time” remark is being discussed. CJI ⚖️: I was misquoted. The matter had not even been filed. I can hear a case only when a petition exists. Once filed properly, it will be listed. REPORTER: Any message for students on the streets? CJI: I will speak about this on the judicial side.
