do you start with the equation to draw the line? or do you draw the line and then create the equation after?

i start with the equation, it gets graphed directly and fed into the synth (x is time, y is frequency)

What program are you using to do this?

this is a software i'm making (unpublished for now) it lets you write math equations and graph them. then it feeds the graph into a synth to create audio
