That was absolutely beautiful

Link to the piece:

I mostly understood what you were talking about - but your concerto is amazing.

And if this way over your head if your a rock/metal fan, just listen to The Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky

Sounds like he made a 4th chord with octaves. 1 C 2 D 3 E 4 F 5 G 6 A 7 B Octave Octave 6-A (3rd of F) 3-E(7th of F) 4-F (root) (tonic C 5th of F).

Didn’t you wait she’s only 17😆 who knew you were such a music theory geek

Very very cool.

Absolutely beautiful ❤️

This sounds fantastic

That's great! And thanks for the explanation!

Magnificent Kip!

That sounds lovely, but I still prefer Headed For A Heartbreak. ;-)

So glad I got to meet you at @MagicSpringsFUN if anyone can get me to check out some classical jams it’s you!

Wow, what did I just listen to? That’s gonna take a bit to sink in

Bravo. This piece is hauntingly beautiful..thank you

Thanks Kip, listening now!

I get it, but having anything else than the tonic in the bass is done frequently...a well known concept, although not done througout a piece.

Oh that was cool!!
Not just another pretty face. Also, gave me a hint Two Lovers Stand

brought me to tears... thanks for sharing this brother....

Very cool!

Bro, you’ve come a ways since she was only 17. 😎

I have no idea what you just said. However, the end result… I’m speechless!!

Epic - 🩵 with a live orchestra it will sound huge.

Son, I wanted to send you something to listen to on one of your fall bike rides. It’s Henryk Górecki’s Symphony No. 3, Op. 36 — Symphony of Sorrowful Songs. Look for the recording with Dawn Upshaw, the London Sinfonietta, and David Zinman on Spotify. The symphony has three movements—I, II, and III—but I’d start with II. Then, when you have the time, listen to the whole thing. There’s something about that music, the cool air, the leaves changing, and being alone on a bike that I think might fit together beautifully. And since I’m your father, I have to say this too. I love you. I know you know that, but I’m going to keep saying it anyway. After what happened with the car recently, of course I worry about you riding. I’m grateful you stayed upright and came away with only a relatively small injury to your ankle. I bought you the rear radar because anything that gives you another set of eyes out there is worth having. But no piece of equipment replaces your own eyes and instincts. Keep your head on a swivel. Assume the driver doesn’t see you. Assume the car might turn, drift, pull out, or do the one thing it shouldn’t do. Ride as though every car is a potential threat until you know otherwise. That isn’t me telling you not to ride. Quite the opposite. Ride. Enjoy it. Put some miles behind you. Listen to beautiful music and watch autumn happen around you. Just come home safely. I love you, son. Dad

You are so talented.

Yeah Kip.. You are a legit, classical composer with mad skills, which is confusing for somebody that grew up on “She’s Only 17” misrepresented major Talentz

tell Jonny Leigh John W and Amanda to get on X

Very cool, the tones sound flipped from what you would normally do, like an inverted chord voicing but bigger.

❤️

musical crescendo realization that life will end while you are living it , and before you want it to

You know what sucks? Not this music. It is so very beautiful. What sucks is I’m out of tissues. Thanks.

Fantastic.
