We have gently expanded May’s world since she returned to the rescue, with the help of our visiting behaviourist Charlene who knows her better than anyone. May is a dog who needs to stay with us. She is the product of bad breeding, profoundly deaf and with eyes that receive light differently. So we are doing all we can to make her life as rich as possible - getting all her cuddles in but also making some dog friends. This is what not giving up on a dog looks like. Unconditionally loved by the team and her Auntie Charlene, and all the volunteers who walked and sat with her when she was being assessed at The Hayloft Pet Services 💜
