He’s a good follow too. @auren Tracking LiveRamp through the ups and downs of data privacy shifts has been fascinating, though $RAMP equity has been dead money for basically a decade. I wonder if Auren thinks $RAMP is a fundamentally good business that can earn attractive returns for shareholders or if it’s somewhat stuck between goliaths and will continue to struggle to earn a return on capital.

It was last year in April while we were working for the relief & rehabilitation at #Khargone & #Sendhwa that I received this unexpected call. It was Asaduddin Owaisi sb who called to enquire about the situation there. Over almost a months time, we talked on many occasions. I briefed him about the relief works we were doing there & he shared the works by AIMIM team. His team worked with many survivors of violence & communal demolition at Khargone & Sendhwa. In the #Haldwani demolition that was later stayed by the court, we also talked about the legal approach and other mitigations. Quentin Tarantino is such a good storyteller, that his own story of the day he decided to make film is gold. In his early-20s, he worked at a video store. His dream was to be a director but this job was “dream-adjacent”, which put his “real ambition to sleep”. It all changed when an older guy in his friend group — about 5 years older — turned 30 and suddenly became quite bitter about how he hadn’t achieved much in his 20s. Quentin and his friend would hang out and talk film but didn’t actually make anything. When Quentn turned 25, he realized he didn’t want to be like his friend at 30. So, he spent one night fully assessing the state of his life and decided he had to make a change. “I got to not worry about [this video store] job anymore,” he thought. “I just got to move to Hollywood and get involved and meet other people that are in the business.” He did and soon started getting writing gigs. At 27, he sold the script for “True Romance” for $50k. At 29, he directed “Resevoir Dogs”. And on the day he turned 32, Quentin won a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for “Pulp Fiction”.

HAHAHAHAHA! Kendall George tagged up on THAT flyball, and was safe BY A MILE! I literally think he outran the ball while it was in flight. Then he scored on a medium flyball by Nevin to center, and made it look TOO easy. Talk about get on, get over, get in, he's a ONE MAN show doing that. And, oh, by the way, George had two hits, AGAIN, both of them to the opposite field, AGAIN, he raised his average to .323, and his on-base percentage is .412. He's also scored 35 runs in 33 games. Talk about building your game around your "carrying tool", well, how about THIS! Kendall has a 52.1% oppo%, and then, to combine with that, his ground ball rate is 69.2%. Ground balls to the left side and run like the wind works when you have HIS speed. #dodgers #dodgersprospects #kendallgeorge

Two days ago I stumbled upon this guy’s video. At first, it was very alarming, as he was claiming that he is a food delivery driver while spitting in the food and drinks of Trump supporters. After looking at his page, I came to the conclusion that he is desperate for clicks and views. He just started his page, and in his other videos he mocked both leftists and conservatives. I’m uploading both of his videos, including the second one where he says he got “fired” from his food delivery job. I didn’t post about him before because he is a troll and a TikTok clown, but I see a lot of people are sharing his video as if it were true.

He watched Bunker Hunt go from the richest man on Earth to nearly bankrupt in six weeks: "Bunker Hunt was squeezing silver at the time, and he bought about 200 million ounces at an average price of about $3.50. And between 1976 and 1980, inflation started ripping and silver went literally through the roof. By like 1979, silver was around $30 an ounce, and all of a sudden he was worth about five or six billion. So he buys 20 million ounces at $35. And it just roofed. Goes to $50. He's worth about 11 billion and he's got a multiple of five or six on the next closest guy. I just couldn't even believe what I had seen and how much money that this guy had made. COMEX made it liquidation only and silver collapsed. It went from $50 to under $10 in the space of about eight weeks. And that had a searing impact on me, to see him go from the richest guy to virtually bankrupt in the short space of six or seven weeks. Right then and there, I would never own anything or trust anything for the rest of my life. My grandfather, when I was really young, he said, "Son, you're only worth what you can write a check for tomorrow." So liquidity's always been something that's been in my DNA. I had this friend; he was such a character. We were brokers at that time at E.F. Hutton. And we called him The Mortician because he'd get an account with 10,000, churn about a $100,000 in commissions, take it to a million bucks, and then have it in deficit. So you learned that liquidity was really important because the volatility was so huge. We're all living on the edge. So that had a real impact on me. It completely rekindled my interest in this subject matter. Then of course there was a Congressional subcommittee hearing in 2023 and it was a fascinating Q and A. We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. So we said to him, what do you think about taking some time off of school and working with us and building out Devin? And he thought about it for a while, and he came back, and he said I'm down, I want to do it, but my parents really want me to graduate from school, and I'm just not sure there's a way to make it work. So we talked with him more to fully understand the situation, and then we flew to North Carolina, went straight from the airport to his parents' house, had dinner with him and his parents, and tried to understand, all right, what would it take to make this work? They said it sounds like a great opportunity, but we really want our son to be able to graduate. So we figured out a setup where he could work for us essentially full time, but then come in for his required classes, and do what he needed to do to get the diploma.
