Lewis Hamilton to Sky Sports Italy: "I think all weekend I've been really, really strong. Qualifying really didn't show the true pace. I think we had a few problems through qualifying, which meant that I was further back than I should have been." "And anyways, today, of course none of us really knew what the true pace was going to be, but I felt great from the get-go and was obviously closing the gap right at the end to Charles. A couple more laps and I think I would have had Charles, so maybe one or two more laps." "So there's lots and lots of positives to take from it. We've got a lot of work to do to catch Mercedes, but it's not impossible. So a big congratulations to everyone back at the factory. I'm really, really proud of the work we've [done]. But we've still got to keep pushing, keep digging deep. I'll keep pushing into the next race." #F1 || #AustralianGP

#AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton post race: “I’m really proud of the team. Obviously we’re not as fast as Mercedes. We’ve got work to do but we’re right in the fight. It was a really really fun race. And it felt good for me.” “Couple more laps I would’ve had Charles so… I had great pace. Lots and lots of positives to take from today.”

#AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton post race: “I feel great. I feel like I could’ve kept going, I wish the race was longer. I think another five laps or something, I would’ve definitely, I think I would’ve gotten 3rd.” “There’s lot and lots of positives to take from today. The car was feeling great, it was actually a really fun race.” “I think we got some work to do to try and catch up, we gotta work and improve on our power, clearly. They’ve [Mercedes] got more power than everyone, it seems. More batter power, not really sure what it is but, I really think we maxisined our result and our performance. I felt great in the car so I’m really really excited for the next races.”

#F1Testing | Lewis Hamilton reflects on a “really productive” shakedown: “Very challenging today. It started raining at 10:30 so, obviously Charles had a little bit of dry running but then it was wet all afternoon so… figuring out how to get the tyres working… It was really productive, I think we got 120 laps or something like that, given that it’s in the wet conditions and we had a red flag, I think that’s pretty solid.” “Really proud of everyone back at the factory for getting the car to this point. We’ve got a lot of information on the car today, definitely need to keep it up. Lots and lots to do, but a good first day.”

#AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton post qualifying: “Yeah, it was not the best qualifying but I felt solid all weekend, been really really happy in the car and feeling super motivated.” “Up until the end of Q1 on the medium tyre was feeling great, I was third or fourth with just the medium tyre so, a bit solid. And then we got into Q2 we had some problems with the engine and deployment and then it kind of threw a bunch of spanners in the mix and we really struggled to execute and get the best out of it .” “So I think, if things hadn’t been an issue, we probably could’ve been fighting for a 3rd or 4th. Couldn’t keep up, get anywhere near the Mercedes but still lots of work to do to and progress to be made.”

#BelgianGP 🇧🇪 | Lewis Hamilton post race: “I think we had the pace to win today, but anyways. I had this damage on the floor but I still had great pace, but I was losing like 50 points [of downforce] or something… given that, I’ll take it.”

#CanadianGP 🇨🇦 | Lewis Hamilton says he didn’t make a mistake on his qualifying lap: “I’m really enjoying the weekend. I’m really enjoying driving this track. I think we could’ve been challenging for 3rd yesterday and the day before.” “I didn’t actually make a mistake on my last laps there was something else, with the power, it was too low so the [straight mode] wouldn’t work.” “There’s lots of positives to take from it. Today with these tricky conditions. Anything is possible.”

#F1 | Lewis Hamilton believes the team is very well equipped to take on the 2026 season: “Just to be in Fiorano, you know, to be at Ferrari, to be here, to know that this is a start of a long journey, but one that I know that it just feels right, I think the team is in the best place it’s been, I think, for the time I’ve been here. And seeing everyone so motivated and driven, I think we’re really on it.” “We’ve got a lot of work to do to really make sure we do all the diligence and we really understand this car and we really have to be quick to react, be very dynamic but I feel like all hands are on deck so I’m sure we can do that.”

#BritishGP 🇬🇧 | Lewis Hamilton post qualifying: “Am I satisfied? Of course not! I’m P3! But I’m happy to be here. These guys did a great job today, Charles has been making good improvements.” “We didn’t have the pace of the Mercedes but we’re slowly closing the gap and to have both of us up here is great for the team.”

"I didn't really understand why we had to box so close to George's pit stop, because that really was kind of signing to finishing behind George, because with a two or three laps difference for me, wasn't much I could have done. I felt like there was a bit more in my tyres. Obviously, Lewis and I were on different strategies at that point, but I felt that what was right was staying a bit longer on track. But at the end of the day, it is the way is."

#SingaporeGP 🇸🇬 | Lewis Hamilton believes they should have been further up in qualifying: “I think the pace was there, I think we just didn’t optimise the sessions. Q2 onwards, basically…” “I’m definitely more comfortable in the car. I think this weekend, I think I’ve been driving really well. I’ve been happy with my performance in the car and I think P6 is not good. I definitely think we should have been further ahead than that.” “It was all about tyre temps today, it is every week pretty much.”

#MonacoGP 🇲🇨 | Lewis Hamilton post qualifying: “It is the most incredible circuit to drive, and such a privilege to do it. Not only in a Formula 1 car, but in a Ferrari. It’s pretty extreme.” “I think we were looking really strong all weekend. We didn’t really make – hardly – any changes overnight, but for some reason today in FP3 we lost a little bit of performance. I think others took a step forward, particularly Mercedes. Kimi did such a great job today.” “Our qualifying sessions wasn’t smooth sailing. It wasn’t like yesterday where I was just banging good laps in. I was really far off in Q1, struggling with balance, Q2 was still struggling with balance.” “I had to make big big changes through the session to try and get the car under control. Ultimately we took performance off the car because we took a lot of wing out.”
