Rabbi Yossi Lazaroff shared with me how his son, 20 year old Leibel Lazaroff from Texas, saved a police officers life in the terrorist attack at the Chanukah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Leibel used the shirt off his own back to make a tourniquet for the NSW police officer, preventing the officer from bleeding out all whilst under live fire from the terrorists. Leibel was shot by the terrorists and sustained critical life-threatening injuries. He has been taken out of an induced coma and is now awake and speaking with full recollection of the event.
