There is a girl on tik tok who recites poetry that she writes. Her poems are beyond beautiful. Today, I found one she recently done on 1D. It was so emotionally beautiful about how we grew up with them and how they made us feel. This is why we hurt so much when we lost Liam. Words cannot express the pain I feel when seeing these videos, dozens of them a day, and this is happening daily in Gaza and has been for 2 weeks. I understand Israelis are hurting I understand Hamas needs to end I understand there is a cost for war I don't know what the solution is, but two wrongs don't make a right.

I was walking through the streets of Chania, a town in the Greek islands, when a man stopped me and asked, “Are you an Australian singer?” I almost missed it, I was on the phone with my producer ⚔️ DANNY DUKE ⚔️ probably talking about music and trolling him (as usual). Turns out he’s a Jewish Australian journalist whose family survived the Holocaust. He’s been outspoken about war crimes in Gaza and the reality of what’s happening — and like many truth-tellers, he’s faced heavy censorship for it: he lost his YouTube page twice and I lost my management contract. So we had a lot to talk about. We spoke outside a shop with a sign that read: “Free Palestine. Esperanza and Edwin will always have their beautiful little angel, Lily Rose in their hearts forever. I don't know why unspeakable heartbreak like this happens and as a father it makes me sad. But also makes me remember that we only get one shot at life - and we gotta be there for each other when we're down, lift each other up, and help each other see the light. Today, I took my children, Imad and Adam, along with my sister’s children—Elaine, Maher, and Ahmed—to the sea in Gaza. 🌊❤️ For a few hours, we forgot the heat inside the tent. We forgot the sounds of war and let the children laugh the way every child deserves to laugh. I swam with them, looked at their smiling faces, and prayed that one day they would have a normal childhood—without fear, displacement, or war. We may not be able to change our reality today, but we are trying to create beautiful memories for our children in the midst of all this pain. These small moments are what give us the strength to keep going. 💙🍉
