During the meeting, both parties agreed that work on the main culvert and drainage infrastructure will begin on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, following approval of the drainage design plans. The Minister reiterated that construction of the mall will remain on hold until all drainage-related concerns have been adequately resolved. She further indicated that the public will soon be updated on traffic management arrangements, including any road diversions that may be necessary to facilitate the construction works.
