Autograph signing gone wrong

(August 11, 2023) Tampa Bay, Florida - A Tampa radio personality is facing assault charges for punching a woman in the face, grabbing her phone and yelling out obscenities during an autograph signing event. Mike Calta, host of the Mike Calta Show on 102.5 FM, is seen on video shoving the brunette during the violent exchange that took place at a Florida gun store. The exchange started when the unidentified woman, who is holding some papers, begins recording Calta on her cell phone. Calta asks, 'How pathetic is your life that you are fighting the fight.' She then asks as the camera is rolling, 'How pathetic is your life?' A seated Calta responds: 'Honestly ...how pathetic...my life is not pathetic look around and see how many people are here ...turn around ...turn your camera around,' he demands. Seconds later he grabs the phone from the woman's hand and holds it up over his head. 'These people are here to see me,' he quipped. The woman responds, 'You don't have permission to take that from me. That is my property.' An irate Calta said,  'I don't give a s**t ...you don't have permission throwing me under the bus ...alright ...stop this!' In the clip, the woman is seen trying to reach for her phone that Calta is holding in the air. The scene then escalates. Calta is heard telling the woman, 'back away from me otherwise I am going to kick the s**t out of you!' The bodyguards who are nearby are seen trying to keep the woman away from Calta, who repeated three times, 'back away from me...back away from me ... back away from me.' He then told the woman, 'b****h if you don't back away from me these guys are gonna throw you the f**k out.' As she attempts to get her phone back, Calta dismisses her and says, 'Go out they will give it to you outside.' She is then heard calling him by another last name, 'Mike Oliveria I want my phone back,' she repeats. As she tries to grab the phone from Calta's hand an irate Calta stands up and violently pushes the woman shouting, 'get the f*** off of me!' The distressed woman is heard yelling as the bodyguards are nearby saying, 'he committed a felony... he committed a felony.' After the woman was no longer in the video, a hostile Calta is back seated looking down at his phone and saying, 'get the f**k off of me ...you dirty c**t,' which he repeated. The Staten Island native who moved to Tampa in 1992 has been linked to shock jock Howard Stern. He had no right to grab her phone away from her. She was being a fan , not intruding or bothering him. He obviously has no class, pushes people around, ...Why would anyone like him after this? Who would care or want his autograph anymore.
