The indigenous MWF has entered the pre flight phase, with its maiden flight scheduled for June 2026. 🇮🇳 With rollout complete, CEMILAC will issue First Flight Clearance (FFC) after certifying ground functional checks, engine ground runs, flight control laws, emergency systems, and also the low & high speed taxi trials.

Huey Crashes During Flight Test On December 2, 1977, a U.S. Army UH-1H Huey crashed while attempting an autorotation landing during flight testing of the experimental MULTEWS (Multiple Target Electronic Warfare System) at Edwards Air Force Base. The externally mounted MULTEWS significantly degraded the helicopter's performance and handling, leading to the termination of the flight test program. Both pilots suffered broken backs but recovered and returned to flying just a few months later.

The B-1B will reportedly take part in Exercise Cope India 2025, an annual series of international air exercises between the U.S. Air Force and the Indian Air Force, which will primarily take place over India and the Indian Ocean.

In January, we delivered our second aircraft to DoD customers at Edwards Air Force Base. This historic lakebed is where Chuck Yeager first broke the sound barrier in the Bell X-1, and where the Enterprise space shuttle prototype completed a series of approach and landing flight trials. It's an honor for us to conduct testing of our electric air taxi on this hallowed ground.
