Autonomy will create the world we want It covers all transportation needs with fewer cars, since they won't sit idle for most of the day anymore Instead, cities will be greener & liveable

That’s cool but we don’t want our driving privileges taken away

Glad I won't live to see it. I prefer the independence of going where I want to, getting there how i want to.

So basically exactly the same vision of the future as the World Economic Forum... 15 minute cities etc. No, this is not the world "we" want.

This is not the world anyone wants or asked for this is your false version of the future. No American is giving up their cars, and after living through the COVID lock-downs, no American will trust the idea of a business or the government having the power to shut down all vehicles at will. This is a bad idea.

in a high trust society ,yes, ideal. How do you handle application of the technology in present society though? Vandals and violent individuals are everywhere and current laws are not enforced enough. Is there an emergency mode, protect the goods and passenger mode?

"we want" ? Freedom and autonomy stop being free & autonomous the moment that data driven & source controlled become the driving force.. Ones mans' freedom is another mans' Tyranny in Data driven world..🤔🔥 It's a fine balance that puts everything everywhere for everyone into question

'Autonomy' will take away our autonomy ,,,, funny that ?

In the future we won't own anything. We won't own cars, houses and lands. We will subscribe for everything and everything will be owned by the government. This is an example of how it's gonna work. Autonomy.

The definition of the word autonomy is "the ability to act independently free from control or influence". This Tesla utopian vision implements the opposite of autonomy, yet touts it as the primary objective. We have been promised many civilizational utopia and with out exception they did not meet their goals and instead failed or resulted in hellish aftermaths. The United States is one of very few civilizational experiments that did not promise utopia, but instead it promised individual liberty (autonomy). It is ironic that this great experiment as of late is being brought to its knees by utopian visions of safety, equity, no boundaries, no poverty, freedom of perversity, and now a green world without ownership. I am hearing a strong echo of "you will own nothing and you will be happy" in this Tesla ad. Sorry @elonmusk, as important as freedom of speech is, it is not the only freedom encompassed in the concept of liberty. Please build all the amazing things you do, but please do not see your self as the architect of civilization, let the liberated citizens do that...

All these things seem great in principle and could certainly have their place, however, providing our own individual autonomy is never removed or restricted.
