USDCx is issued directly through Circle's xReserve infrastructure and it is backed 1:1 by USDC. We should understand why this is such a big deal. The real macro significance is the institutional access argument...institutions typically won't deploy capital on-chain without a trusted, redeemable stablecoin. So this was a huge problem for Cardano. That blocker is now removed! Whether that actually attracts institutional capital is the question that gets answered over the next few months into the new cycle. Cardano TVL is currently $140M (up from $127M in Feb) 15M+ USDCx minted since launch Stablecoin market cap on Cardano now is $48M The TVL trend from here is probably one of the best things to pay attention to.
